Flower Beds

The slide shows the progression from no bed after building compaction into a mix flower bed by breaking the compaction mixing in soil improver and topping it up with a layer of soil improver mulch, that way improving soil structure and releasing nutrients from the previous heavy soil and the continuous decomposition of the soil improver. further pictures will be added.

Kitchen Garden
A photographic following will be posted here later.
As for now only leeks, curled Kale, curled parley, Swiss chard, perpetual spinach and some remaining beetroots, yellow and reds are still remaining on the ground.
I still have some Winter Density lettuce, Arctic king and Lolo Rosso under small polytunnels. The remaining area has been mulched with half rotted compost for the remaining of the process to happen until spring and the paths in between have been mulched with wood chipping to supress weed in the short term and add organic matter in the long run.
